Really hit home...

I stumbled across a book that was available for pre-sale on Amazon a few weeks ago. It is titled "Hands Free Mama." Well, it caught my eye. So pre-order I did. While waiting for the book to appear on my iPad, I sought out this woman's blog. IT IS LIFE CHANGING! I really mean that. Life changing! I think this book and blog came to me at the perfect time. It was just what I needed to start a new year with gusto! I am now determined to put the iPhone, iPad, and television away for a least an hour each evening so that Little Miss and I can do something together. Not both do something in the same room, do something together. Make memories. I don't think I will ever regret this decision.

My two mottos for this year are "Letting go... to grasp what really matters" (thanks Hands Free Mama) and "Try a little harder to be a little better." Those are my goals for every second of every day. Let's see how great this year and every year after can be.
